Artist Statement
Ceramic Artist and Floral Designer, Sue Ann Cox, is the creator of The Fairy Potter. Enchanted cottages for the home and garden inspired by the 19th Century primer, “The Language of Flowers”.
Sue is guided by the hand of nature and fairy lore as she creates each piece. She combines her years of professional floral design, love of the clay arts and a life long passion of fairy culture. Each stoneware piece is meticulously hand built, glazed and fired in her Delaware Studio.
Exhibitions include, Bethany Beach Arts, Brandywine Arts, Winterthur Museum, Hagley Museum Artisan Show, Delaware Arts Museum, Lewes Historical Society Arts, Christmas in Odessa, Wilmington Flower Market, Hockessin Arts Festival and many more.
