About the Artist
Tracy Allen has been making jewelry for more than 30 years. Beadwork is her passion! She likes to make jewelry to represent different cultures such as Egypt, Tibet, China, Greece, the Southwest and the Tropical Islands. She uses a variety of beads in designing her jewelry including gemstone, pearl, shell, wood, sea glass, crystal, ceramic, metal and trade beads. She has started a wearable art line which portrays artists such as Frida Kahlo, Vincent van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, etc.
Her jewelry has been sold in stores and galleries throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania. Tracy has been the featured artist in Kennett Square, Cochranville and Media, Pennsylvania. She has also taken classes on silversmith, lapidary, polymer clay, fused glass and lampwork jewelry design. Recently, she has taken numerous glass classes and designed wall hangings, night lights, bowls and platters. Tracy participates in several organizations including the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and the Delaware Mineralogical Society.
